Hello everyone, Nicky here with you today with a last minute Valentine card in case you are looking for inspiration. We all get creative blocks sometimes!

My card features the adorable and popular Hog Heaven stamp and die set from MFT. I used some of the smaller stamps from the set to make a wallpaper background to this shaker card. I used Versamark Ink and stamped all of one design randomly and then used a colored embossing powder and heat set it and then picked another design and stamped and embossed that in a different colour and so on and so forth. This technique elevates the background beyond the ordinary, it looks really great when the card is moved.

Over this embossed panel I layered a die cut using MFT's Die-Namics Essential Cover-Up Vertical . This is a great die for shaker cards. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in silver. Popping it up on 2 layers of dimensional foam tape to make room for a generous mix of sequins, I sealed it down over a pink card stock base. I then stamped the pigs using black Archival Ink, watercolor painted them and then die cut them and applied them to the card using dimensional foam tape.

The card feels super substantial which is always important to me, I want the recipients of my cards to really feel the quality.
I hope you are inspired and I look forward to being with you all in a week from now. Follow me on Instagram #nickynoocards, Pinterest and Facebook for more of my card making endeavours.
