Hello crafty friends!!!! Silvia's here and I'm so happy to be back on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog today!
For my card I started cutting a white rectangle panel (4,25" x 5,5") , I ink blended it with Lawn Fawn's "Cloudy" stencil and salvaged patina Distress Oxide ink and I added some texture splattering with clean water, tone on tone ink and a bit of Indian gold Nuvo mousse (both loosened with water).
I then die cut two grassy and one cloudy borders with Hello Bluebird "Grassy Knoll" dies (that I ink blended them with mowed lawn, twisted citron and rustic wilderness Distress Oxide inks) and a tree with Lawn Fawn's "Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop" die (that I ink blended with pumice stone and black soot Distress Oxide inks).
I stamped images from the "Happy Hugs" stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them.
For the sentiment, I die cut the "hugs" scripty from the "Long Distance Hugs" die set three times and I glued one above the other from pink cardstock.
I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I added some red hearts die cut with the new "Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag" die set.
That's all. Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you'll enjoy this card.
Hugs, Silvia.
this card is absolutely adorable! Thanks so much for the details on how you put together this fab background too.
